Job Overview

Manchester-based temporary HR Advisor role. Immediate start, 2-month duration. £19.23 per hour + Holiday Pay. A strong brand with passionate teams, and multiple sites across the region, seeking a temporary HR Advisor to support with people strategy, provide practical HR advice, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on HR support to managers across all sites on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, absence management, and performance issues
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
• Support or lead on investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Assist with driving engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives
• Work closely with the wider HR team and site leaders to support business needs

Desirables

• Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor role – ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment (hospitality/retail/leisure is a plus)
• CIPD Level 5 qualified
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Confident communicator and relationship-builder at all levels
• Able to work independently and flexibly with a proactive mindset
• Full, clean driving licence and own transport essential due to multi-site travel.
