Job Description

My Client, a Not for Profit organisation In Bridgend are looking for a Finance Manager on an immediate start whilst a Permanent hire is recruited. There is a possibility that this role could go temp to perm if both parties are happy, however if you are only looking for a temp role the client is also happy with that.

Reporting to the CFO, The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in the team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
  • Manage a team of 3
  • Production of the Monthly Management Accounts with commentary
  • Production of Month End reports for Directors across the organisation
  • Production of the Annual Accounts to IFRS102
  • Act in a Business Partnering capacity to Stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Profit and Loss management and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and provide financial guidance to the team.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage funding allocations effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temp Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • People management skills is desirable.
