About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Bookkeeper on an initial 6-month contract to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible role to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our Finance Director and Accounting Manager to support the daily financial operations of the company. This role is ideal for someone who values the long-term impact of finance operations, has a strong work ethic, a love for numbers, and a desire to grow and develop!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including processing invoices, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Handle purchase ledger activities, payment management, vendor setup, subscription revenue, and bank payments and reconciliations.
  • Help manage and track subscription-based revenue and recurring invoices.
  • Assist with payroll, pension, and employee expense processing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely financial reporting and data accuracy.
  • Contribute to monthly closing activities and support finance processes.
  • Support the Finance Director with system changes and administration.
  • Learn how finance integrates with other departments such as Sales and Customer Success.
