Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Assistant to support our finance team during a busy period. You will work with Sage from day one, handling day-to-day finance tasks and maintaining accurate records.

This 4-day-a-week role offers an immediate start and an hourly rate of £12.71 plus holiday pay, with the opportunity to join an efficient team during a peak period.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organised candidate with finance experience.
• Proven hands-on Sage experience in the last 2 years.
• Excel skills including formulas and data management are essential.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and invoice processing.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and match to purchase orders in Sage.
• Raise and process sales invoices and credit notes.
• Post and allocate customer receipts.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process supplier payment runs and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments.
