Job summary

Anderson Cole Group Ltd in Guildford is recruiting a Data Management Assistant to join a busy school data team on a temporary six-month basis. The role focuses on first-line data queries, MIS maintenance, and supporting information systems.

You will work closely with the Data Manager and Data Migration Specialist, handle records in Veracross/Schoolbase, and use CPOMS and other education systems. The position is office-based, full-time, with DBS and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience using an MIS system (Veracross, Schoolbase, iSAMS, SIMS or similar) is beneficial.
• Experience working in an education setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Resolve first-line data tickets alongside the Data Manager and Data Migration Specialist.
• Maintain and update records in the school's MIS system (Veracross/Schoolbase).
• Use CPOMS and other education systems as part of day-to-day data management.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the staff team and support general data administration tasks.
• Escalate complex queries to the Data Manager as appropriate.
