The role requires a full, valid driving licence, experience in driving or logistics, and the ability to work independently with basic IT skills. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and clean driving record.
• Experience in driving, transport, or logistics roles.
• Understanding of delivery procedures and transport documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with shipments and records.
• Ability to follow operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic IT skills for completing records and status updates.

Responsibilities

• Complete collection and delivery activities in line with scheduled routes and service requirements.
• Verify shipment details and obtain required signatures or proof of delivery documentation.
• Transport products, materials and medical samples safely and securely.
• Adhere to temperature control requirements and transportation regulations where applicable.
• Communicate delivery progress, delays and shipment exceptions promptly.
• Support loading, unloading, packaging and labelling to ensure shipment readiness.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues as required.
• Assist with specialised transport activities, including transfer-point, airport, hand-to-hand, and adjusted schedule assignments.
