Reports To: Teller Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager, or Branch Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary: To receive and process deposits, checks, payments, and other transactions, as well as issue money orders, travelers checks, and other drafts.
Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Represent the credit union positively to members, potential members, and co-workers.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Provide exceptional member service, demonstrating knowledge, adaptability, patience, attentiveness, positive communication, time management, and willingness to learn, along with accurate transaction processing.
- Maintain an adequate cash drawer, including buying/selling currency from the vault as needed and balancing the drawer throughout the workday.
- Keep the teller line and personal window neat and professional in appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of all member information.
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including loading check printers, money order machines, stocking printers, turning off heaters, and managing drive-thru lanes.
- Assist other departments as needed, such as Home Equity, Credit Cards, Loans, Accounting, Filing, Reception, Marketing, Member Service, Scanning, etc.
- Assist with training new tellers.
- Respond to member inquiries and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
- Complete and pass BVS training tests.
- Record and submit CTR/SAR information.
- Order supplies and organize incoming shipments in the stock room.
- Verify coin rolls and cash given by members, and prepare coins for shipment.
- Print, fold, and stamp daily notices.
- Process basic teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, loan payoffs, loan advances, IRA contributions, charge-offs, and other member transactions.
- Print statements, transaction histories, and termination statements for members.
- Verify deposits, process foreign checks (Canadian), travel notices, and non-member cashing checks.
- Process credit card payments and cash advances.
- Issue Cedar Point tickets daily and reconcile monthly.
- Update member address information.
- Handle drive-thru transactions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; prior work experience helpful but not required.
Pay:
Starting at $14.00 per hour.
