Job summary

Capita TV Licensing is seeking a Field Officer to visit customers in the Bath area, discussing TV licence requirements and helping customers take the next steps. You will manage your own daily schedule, using a company vehicle or personal car, with full training provided.

The role offers a flexible 36.5-hour week, 12 hours across 4pm–9pm weekdays or weekends, and benefits including pension, life assurance, and holiday allowance.

Working independently, you'll manage your own daily schedule, visiting addresses where no TV licence is recorded and helping customers understand their licensing obligations.Key responsibilities include:Visiting residential addresses throughout the BA1-BA6 postcode areasSpeaking with customers professionally and respectfullyExplaining TV Licensing requirements and available optionsSetting up payment plans where appropriateRecording visit outcomes accurately using mobile technologyMaking informed decisions and working independently in the fieldOccasionally attending court as part of the enforcement processYou'll start and finish your day from home, travelling locally using either a company vehicle or your own vehicle.
