We are looking for an experienced Telesales Advisor to join our team in Wakefield, ideally you will have previous Telesales experience, ideally working within the Utilities / Power sector , within Technical Telesales / or alternatively you are a Graduate looking into the Utilities / Power Sector - some of your responsibilities will include:-

  • Contacting potential customers
  • Presenting the business and looking for opportunities
  • Focusing on customer needs to close sales
  • Documenting correct data / and customer information, purchases, and reactions.
  • To be successful within this role, we are looking for excellent communication skills as well as sales ability. You should be meticulous in keeping records, and able to handle all aspects of making a sale.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • I nitiating sales with potential customers over the phone.
  • Asking questions to engage customers and upsell Ipsum Utilities services
  • Listening to the customers' needs to generate repeat sales.
  • Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases, and reactions to products.
  • Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products.
  • Answering customers' questions on the products.
  • Meeting Sales quotas & Targets

About You

Desirable Qualifications [& Professional Membership(s)]:

  • Previous experience in Tele Sales, Customer Service, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • 1 or 2 years Utility / Technical Sales experience dealing with the industry customer base (preferable)
  • Full clean driving license.

Desirable Skills & Personal Qualities :

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is a plus.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Persuasive and confident sales approach.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem solver.
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.

  • Preferably candidate with 1 or 2 years technical sales experience dealing with manufacturing industry customer base
