We are recruiting experienced Telephone Collections Agents for our client based in Sheffield S3.

These are permanent positions working 37.5 hours over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and to include Saturdays.

Salary £26,000 plus bonus with a realistic OTE of up to £40,000.

Working within a friendly and modern office just outside the city centre, you will be making and receiving calls with customers to arrange payment of outstanding debts.

The role will involve-

  • Handling difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner over the telephone
  • Entering accurate records of conversations and agreements onto a customer database
  • Following processed and guidelines regarding debt collection
  • Working in an open plan, contact centre environment
  • Accurately entering payment details correctly first time

Requirements for the role

  • Previous call centre and preferably collections or credit control experience is helpful.
  • Being comfortable working to targets- earnings increase based on achievements.
  • Clear and confident communications skills both in writing and over the telephone as well as being happy making telephone calls to customers.
  • Critical thinking skills and being able to ask the right questions.
