ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a successful OTM Business Development Consultant (BDC), you will have a high level of integrity and the opportunity to manage, nurture & grow your existing client base. You’ll be part of a dynamic, motivated team that takes an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train and retain your clients on the whole suite of OTM products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Development of business growth through sourcing, generating, and building new business for OTM.
  2. Understand the OTM suite of products and how they best support our customers' needs.
  3. Identifying new sales leads and contacting potential new clients.
  4. Meeting new and existing clients online or over the phone.
  5. Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients.
  6. Working with senior team members to manage risks and communicate results.
  7. Build on excellent communication skills and product knowledge to pitch to new and prospective clients.
  8. Represent OTM by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals in your market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proven track record of sales success - our most successful people generally have experience in selling online marketplaces, portals, and similar B2B environments. We will consider other sales backgrounds.
  2. Demonstrate that you have maintained and grown clients over the medium and long-term, providing excellent service.
  3. Outstanding communication, presentation and objection handling skills with the confidence and patience to make complex proposals.
  4. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to metrics in an intelligent, effective manner.
  5. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  6. A consultative selling style with account management techniques to grow accounts over time.
  7. Ability to navigate a large organisation – identifying decision-makers, influencers, and blockers.
