Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Telehandler Operator for a Waste Management site on a 3-month temporary contract. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on-site at a waste management facility.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification and have prior telehandler experience in industrial, construction or waste environments. Responsibilities include site duties, inspections, and safe material handling.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
• Experience operating a telehandler in an industrial, construction or waste management environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on site.
• Load, unload and transport materials around site.
• Carry out daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
• Ensure materials are stored and moved to correct locations.
• Assist with general site duties as required.
• Report defects, faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
