Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced All Terrain Telehandler Operator for a busy commercial construction project in Port Talbot. You will operate a telehandler safely, manage suspended loads, and position materials around site on a 1-week contract.

The role requires a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler card with Suspended Loads endorsement, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work with the site team from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS All Terrain Telehandler card with Suspended Loads endorsement.
• Experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Full PPE and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
• Carry out suspended load lifting operations in accordance with site procedures.
• Transport and position materials around site.
• Support site logistics and assist trades as required.
• Complete daily pre-start equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and construction team to ensure efficient site operations.

Key Duties Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.

Carry out suspended load lifting operations in accordance with site procedures.

Transport and position materials around site.

Support site logistics and assist trades as required.

Complete daily pre-start equipment inspections and report any defects.

Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements Valid CPCS or NPORS All Terrain Telehandler card with Suspended Loads endorsement.

Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.

Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots). Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
