Job summary

ITS Building People are recruiting an experienced Telehandler for a Southampton project. You will operate a telehandler on a Hampshire site, liaising with the on-site team to move materials safely and efficiently.

The role offers weekly pay, ongoing work, and potential progression to further contracts. A CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card is preferred, with PPE and reliability essential for success on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card (where required)
• Experience in telehandler operation or similar role
• Own PPE: hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team
• Training/progression opportunities may be available

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler on site in Southampton, ensuring safe lifting and placement of loads
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report faults
• Coordinate with site team for safe and efficient material handling
• Follow site safety rules and PPE requirements
• On-call/ overtime opportunities may arise depending on project needs

ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler on behalf of our client for a project based in Southampton, Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor/developer. Successful candidates may be considered for further assignments through ITS Building People following completion of the project.

Requirements

• Valid [CSCS/CPCS/NPORS] Card but not always required
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)
• Relevant tools/equipment where required
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Essential)
