Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking a CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Operator with a driving licence to join a busy construction site in Nottingham. The role involves operating the 14m telehandler, with occasional duties outside the cab when the site is quiet.

Working hours are 7:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with ongoing work for at least 12 months. Applicants must have BLUE CPCS/NPORS, a valid driving licence, and proof of Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Blue CPCS/NPORS card (or NPORS) is required.
• Valid driving licence needed.
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Previous site experience and references are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Telescopic Forklift within the Site Traffic Management Plan.
• Load and unload materials from lorries and move them to required locations on site.
• Carry out basic maintenance checks on the telehandler (oil levels, tyre pressures, fuel).
• Secure the plant at the end of the day and ensure cab is safe when not in use.

BLUE CPCS/NPORS Telehandler Operator- Nottingham - Ongoing work

O'Neill & Brennan is currently looking for a CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Operator with driving Licence to start work on a busy construction site in Nottingham. When quiet on site you will be expected to get out of the cab.

Working hours are from 7:30am to 05:00pm - Monday to Friday. (This could be subject to change on site). You will be operating the 14m Machine. This will be an ongoing position for at least 1 year.

All applicants MUST have a BLUE CPCS Card or NPORS, plus valid driving licence

Telehandler Operator duties:

• Driving the Telescopic Forklift within the confines of the Site Traffic Management Plan
• Load and unload materials, goods etc from lorries or platforms and transport them both internally and externally to the required location
• Responsible for minor maintenance checks on the plant. Checking oil, tyre pressures and fuel
• Responsible for securing the plant at the end of the day
• Must be willing to get out of the cab when quiet
