Job description

Job Title: Telehandler
Location: Coventry
Hours: Days (flexibility required)
Salary: £32,533 per annum (Increased once fully trained)
Licences Required: Tele-handler (FLT, 360 Rehandler, Ash Crane – desirable, training provided)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery: ash crane, 360 rehandler, weighbridge
  • Assist public with correct waste segregation
  • Handle hazardous waste safely and monitor tipping hall operations
  • Load and manage waste containers and transport
  • Keep site clean, tidy, and compliant with site licences
  • Maintain records, report incidents, and conduct safety checks
  • Provide cover for stores and ash crane operations as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience working outdoors and independently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of recycling/waste minimisation
  • Team player, physically fit, and safety-minded
