Job summary

Randstad CPE team are seeking a highly skilled Telescopic Forklift Driver (Telehandler) to join ongoing project in Abingdon. Location: Abingdon. Duration: 6 months. Rate: £23.00 per hour.

Candidates must hold a CPCS Card with CSCS for Telescopic Handler and a full UK driving licence. 1–3 years of telehandler experience on residential or major housing developments is required. Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler safely to load, unload, transport, and stack materials across the site
• Distribute materials to plots and assist trades by placing packs accurately
• Conduct daily pre-start safety checks and maintain logbooks, reporting defects
• Assist site management with logistics and, when needed, step out of cab to help manage materials

Job description

Randstad CPE team are seeking a highly skilled Telescopic Forklift Driver (Telehandler) to join ongoing project in Abingdon.

Location: Abingdon

Duration : 6 months

Rate: £23.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Safely operating the telehandler machine to load, unload, transport, and stack materials across the site.

Distributing materials to various plots and assisting bricklayers, joiners, and roofers by placing packs exactly where they need them.

Conducting daily pre-start safety checks on the vehicle, maintaining logbooks, and reporting any defects immediately.

Assisting the site management team with general logistics and occasionally stepping out of the cab to help manage materials if required.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Valid CPCS Card with CSCS logo for Telescopic Handler (All Sizes).

Full UK Driving License.

Minimum of 1-3 years of consistent experience operating a telehandler on fast-paced residential or major housing developments.

Excellent spatial awareness and a flawless safety record on site.

Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe cap boots).
