Job summary

Nexfibre is seeking a Telecoms Security Compliance Analyst to support governance, compliance, policy implementation and training across the organisation. This role focuses on tracking obligations under the Telecommunications (Security) Act and related requirements, with a strong operational and administrative focus.

Responsibilities include maintaining evidence repositories, preparing governance updates, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance.
  • Experience with Telecoms Security Act or similar regulation.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials frameworks.
  • Experience analysing, reporting and presenting data.
  • Experience supporting governance, audit or compliance activities.
  • Experience coordinating training and awareness initiatives.

  • Maintain and update compliance trackers, action logs, risk registers and evidence repositories.
  • Support monitoring of obligations related to the Telecommunications (Security) Act and related frameworks.
  • Assist in preparing governance updates, dashboards, metrics and reporting packs for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate collection of evidence for audits, assurance reviews and regulatory requests.
  • Ensure documentation such as security toolkit components is up to date.
  • Assist rollout and maintenance of security policies, standards and guidance documents.

About Nexfibre

Nexfibre is a next generation fibre broadband company established in 2022 as a joint venture between InfraVia Capital Partners, Liberty Global and Telefónica. We are scale‑building to deliver high‑speed broadband to up to 7 million homes across the UK over the next 4 years, backed by a £4.5 billion investment. In partnership with Virgin Media O2, we aim to create a national scale fibre to the home network and support the Government’s goals to tackle digital exclusion and roll out ultrafast broadband by 2030.

Job purpose

The Telecoms Security Compliance Analyst will support the delivery, coordination, and tracking of security governance, compliance, policy implementation and training activities across Nexfibre. This includes tracking obligations relating to the Telecommunications (Security) Act and other regulatory requirements. The role is primarily operational and administrative, helping maintain governance processes, evidence tracking, reporting cadence and awareness activities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update compliance trackers, action logs, risk registers and evidence repositories.
  • Support monitoring of obligations related to the Telecommunications (Security) Act and related security frameworks.
  • Assist in preparing governance updates, dashboards, metrics, and reporting packs for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate collection of evidence for audits, assurance reviews and regulatory requests, including Ofcom s135 requests.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation, such as the Information Security Compliance Toolkit (Asset Register, Business Impact Assessment, Risk Treatment Plan), is kept up to date.
  • Assist in the rollout and maintenance of security policies, standards, procedures and guidance documents.
  • Track policy compliance, review cycles and feedback, and assist with training materials and internal guidance.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; interest in cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of the Telecoms Security Act.
  • Exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials.
  • Experience analysing, reporting and presenting data in multiple formats.
  • Experience supporting governance, audit or compliance activities.
  • Experience coordinating training and awareness initiatives.
  • Understanding of risk management, IT and networking principles.
  • Ideally degree level with a professional information security qualification (e.g., CISSP or CISM).

Location

Based in Paddington. This is a full‑time, hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
