Job summary

Mitie in the UK is seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor to make safety practical across telecoms projects. You will work with operations, clients and contractors to promote best practice and reduce risk, embedding a positive safety culture on multi-site sites.

The role requires a recognised QHSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH), strong communication, and willingness to travel. 40 hours per week with UK-wide location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QHSE role, ideally within telecoms, construction, infrastructure, utilities, facilities management or another multi-site environment.
• A recognised QHSE qualification, such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, safe working practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical QHSE advice and support to operational teams across telecoms projects.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits, risk assessments and assurance activities.
• Supporting incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and improvement actions.
• Promoting LiveSafe behaviours and helping build a positive, proactive safety culture.
• Supporting compliance with legislation, company procedures, client requirements and industry standards.
