Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a highly organised Planner to join our team within the Poling group. You will coordinate field activities, schedule works, and ensure telecoms installations are delivered efficiently and on time across the UK.

You will support the Planning team, manage design data, and liaise with engineers daily while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Relocation planned for 2027 may be discussed during onboarding.

• Excellent administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with engineers daily.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Adaptable, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client queries professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate and schedule civils‑related tasks into the existing BT network.
• Manage client requests and elevate issues to the Programme Manager when needed.
• Ensure engineers have correct job packs, site access, and information.
• Manage external design partners and ensure design quality and timelines are met.
• Conduct quality checks on submitted designs and provide feedback.
• Implement design guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Work closely with Regional Build Managers to support KPIs and targets.
• Support build contractors, including managing design change requests.
• Provide design data to other business functions when required.
• Carry out occasional site surveys to support planning and build activities.
• Drive and maintain quality control processes.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly across departments.
