Job Title: Telecoms Maintenance Engineer (CCTV, PA & Display Screens)

Location: Berkshire & Oxfordshire area, M4 Corridor

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Telecoms Maintenance Technician to join a team of engineers on a long-term railway station maintenance contract covering a wide area in the South West. You will be responsible for the day-to-day planned preventative and reactive maintenance of communication systems across multiple railway stations in the Bristol and surrounding areas. This includes, but is not limited to, CCTV, PA systems, customer information screens, public help points, and other IP networked communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various communication systems.
2. Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties.
3. Fault finding and troubleshooting.
4. Maintain and install analogue and IP networked communication systems, including CCTV, fibre, and copper networks.

Requirements:

• Ideally based in the Berkshire/South Oxfordshire area.
• Background in Telecoms, Fire & Security, SISS, CCTV, VSS display screens (analogue and digital), Data networks, Copper, CATV/CAT6.
• Experience in maintenance or installation of communication systems and infrastructure.
• Full UK driving license.
• Previous railway experience is a plus but not essential.
• Training will be provided for working in the railway environment. You will be required to carry out a Railway Medical, Drug and Alcohol test, and obtain a DBS check, as you will be working in areas accessible to the public.
• Salary circa 35,000 to 40,000 GBP per annum plus benefits.
