Job Description:

Job Title: Telecoms Field Surveyor
Contract Length: 4 months
Start date: September
Day Rate: Up to £200 per day (Outside IR35) plus travel expenses
Travel: Frequent travel across the South and South West

We're looking for Analogue Field Assessors to support a short-term project assessing analogue systems across multiple housing association sites. The role involves travelling to various residential buildings and individual homes to inspect telecare systems, lift alarms, CCTV setups, and other monitoring or alerting technologies.

You'll be responsible for recording your findings accurately using photos and notes, using Microsoft SharePoint to upload information. There will be regular check-ins with the programme management team to support planning and ensure smooth progress towards the transition from analogue to digital systems.

You'll cover a patch across the South and South West, and must be comfortable with regular travel to these areas.

Skills required

  • Experience in field-based roles, ideally within housing, social care, or technical services
  • Familiarity with analogue systems such as telecare, lift alarms, and CCTV
  • Confident dealing with people face-to-face, professional, and able to handle challenging situations respectfully
  • Strong Microsoft skills, particularly in SharePoint
  • Ability to use your own phone and laptop is preferred
  • Knowledge of digital telecare solutions or housing technology trends
  • Previous experience supporting vulnerable populations

If you're a field engineer or property inspector with Telecomms experience, who enjoys being out on the road and meeting people, this is a great contract to get involved in!
