Job summary

Pro Search UK is seeking an experienced Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer to join our field team in the UK. The role involves laying cables, rodding and roping underground networks and preparing sites to ensure a smooth connection later.

You will carry out pre-enablement activities, install and maintain network infrastructure, pull fibre through ducts, clear blockages, and work across footways, cabinets and customer access areas, while adhering to health, safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-enablement, cable pre-pull, telecoms or utility works.
• Strong fibre/network construction knowledge is essential.
• Familiar with civils and underground network installation.
• Proven safety-focused approach on site.
• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• This role involves laying cables, rodding and roping underground networks and preparing sites for efficient connections.
• Carrying out pre-enablement activities and network pull work.
• Installing, maintaining and replacing telecoms infrastructure equipment.
• Pulling fibre cables through underground ducts and proving integrity.
• Clearing blockages and diagnosing network faults on site.
• Working in footways, carriageways, cabinets and customer areas.
• Using specialist tools and civils equipment safely and effectively.

Pro Search UK are hiring experienced telecoms engineers with experience in Cable pulling , fibre, civils, Rodding & Roping, Undeground network or network build.

Start date of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :

• Immediate start available.

Pay of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :

• Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer will be working on a competitive rate card through a self employed CIS setup.
• If you work hard and put in the effort there is no cap on your earnings.

Job Description of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :

• This will involve laying cables, rodding and roping underground networks and preparing the site to ensure a smooth and efficient connection process later.
• Carrying out network Cable Puller / pre-enablement activities
• Installing, maintaining and replacing network infrastructure equipment
• Cable Pulling and proving fibre cables through the underground duct networks
• Clearing blockages and identifying network faults
• Working within footways, carriageways, cabinets, chambers and customer access areas
• Using specialist tooling and civils equipment safely and effectively
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards

Key Requirements of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer

• Previous pre-enablement, Cable pre pull, telecoms, network build, civils, fibre, or utility experience.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points on
