Communications Engineer – Unified Comms & AV Installations

Full-Time

Field-Based from Northampton

UK Driving Licence Required

We’re seeking a skilled Communications Engineer to join a fast-growing managed service provider delivering telecoms and IT solutions to UK businesses.

This role involves installing and configuring cloud-hosted VoIP systems (Gamma Horizon, 8x8 Work), Microsoft Teams Room setups (Yealink), and Contact Centre platforms. You will conduct site surveys, provide end-user training, and ensure installations are smooth, professional, and well-documented.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in UC or installation engineering roles
• Experience with Gamma Horizon and/or 8x8 VoIP
• Teams Room setups (Yealink hardware preferred)
• Understanding of contact centre features (IVRs, dashboards, agent tools)
• Basic networking knowledge (VLANs, PoE, QoS)
• Experience mounting AV/telephony equipment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving license
