Job Description:

Nano Fibre UK are looking for telecommunications Civils engineers for the Maidstone area to help support us as we scale. We are a fast-growing company committed to offering the best service to our customers from our engineers in this region. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-driven individuals to carry out Civils work to support us in delivering our customer promise. You may either be a current Civils engineer or someone who is currently a fibre broadband engineer looking to get into Civils work and willing to learn. Either way, Nano will support you in that next step in your career.

Key requirements:

• You will have experience and a proven track record working in a Civils environment tracking and locating blockages in the UG system on the BT network.
• You will be required to ensure our risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits.
• Ability to reinstate and make good groundworks; accreditations and experience using heavy machinery, jackhammers, stihlsaws, and wacker plates would be preferred.
• You should show effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork, and brilliant customer service.
• You should possess good logical skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and be willing to find the best customer solutions possible.
• Nano covers different areas of the country, so you may have to travel sometimes.
• The ability to work irregular hours and overtime to achieve our customer service targets is sometimes required.
• You should be medically fit and able to carry out a physical job in all weathers.
• Able to work in teams or alone to meet our SLA KPIs set by our partners.
• Willing to work in other locations within the UK if required (accommodation provided).
