Penta Consulting Ltd in Feltham, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Programme Manager to lead large-scale network transformation and telecom infrastructure programmes.

You will oversee multiple interdependent projects, drive strategy and governance, manage budgets and profitability, and engage with executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Programme or Project Management experience within Telecommunications, ICT, Network Infrastructure, or Service Provider industry.
• Strong experience managing large-scale telecom transformation programmes across multiple technologies and customer environments.
• Experience delivering projects involving IP/MPLS Networks, Core & Transport Networks, Mobile Networks (4G/5G), Transmission & DWDM, SD-WAN, Datacentre & Cloud Infrastructure, Network Security, Managed Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications programmes comprising multiple project workstreams.
• Define programme strategy, governance, delivery frameworks, and ensure alignment with customer business objectives.
• Oversee programme financials, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and profitability.
• Manage programme timelines, resources, dependencies, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive customer engagement at executive level, acting as the primary escalation point for programme-related issues.
• Lead programme governance meetings, steering committees, and executive stakeholder reviews.
• Identify and manage programme-level risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Own contractual change management processes, ensuring programme delivery remains aligned to commercial agreements.
• Coordinate delivery across network, security, datacentre, cloud, transport, and managed service workstreams.
• Manage third-party vendors, telecom partners, and subcontractors to ensure contractual and operational success.
• Support service transition activities, ensuring seamless handover from project delivery into operational support.
• Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to identify growth opportunities, support presales activities, and contribute to strategic customer engagements.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers, providing leadership, guidance, and escalation support.
