Tekla Draughtsperson

A contractor specialising in Structural Steel & Architectural Metalwork in Kent is seeking an experienced Tekla Draughtsperson to join their team.
Key Responsibilities

1. Design Detailing: Create detailed drawings and specifications for architectural metalwork using Tekla software.
2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the design manager and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Site Visits: Conduct occasional site visits to gather information and ensure design accuracy.
4. Quality Control: Maintain high standards in design output, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
5. Communication: Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel regarding project details and requirements.

Qualifications

1. Experience: Proven experience in detailing Structural Steel & Architectural Metalwork, specifically using Tekla software.
2. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to steel detailing.
3. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Tekla and related design tools; ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
4. Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to resolving design issues.

Additional Information

1. Start Date: In 4 weeks or sooner
2. Work Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
3. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
4. Remote Work: No working from home
