Job summary
Group Metropolitan is seeking an Electrical Tester/TEGG Technician to provide predictive, proactive and preventive testing of electrical systems, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment at Greenwich/Canary Wharf. This permanent on-site role offers steady hours and inclusion in a growing turnkey electrical contractor.
The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation, possess a full UK driving license, and be able to manage a heavy workload while adhering to safety
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer/client complaints with systematic questioning.
- Follow troubleshooting guides to identify equipment faults quickly.
- Complete full system checks and analyses before leaving site.
- Check safety and limit controls for proper settings.
- Use appropriate tools and instruments for troubleshooting.
- Assist other certified TEGG electricians/technicians with problems.
- Adhere to planned call schedule.
- Prepare a service report before leaving the jobsite.
