Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Technology Value Manager/Consultant to work across London, Manchester or Edinburgh with a focus on value realization from advanced technology investments. You will engage with senior clients, architects and engineers to quantify business value and drive cost optimisation across hybrid cloud, SaaS and AI deployments.

You will develop business cases, analyse financial data, and shape operating models that enable multi-year investment planning.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing technology cost bases and providing optimisation recommendations.
• Keen to explore emerging technologies (Gen AI, TokenOps, Quantum, etc.).
• Experience working with hybrid cloud, data platforms, SaaS, AI and related technologies.
• Strong ability to engage with senior clients and translate financial insights into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Help clients estimate the value of enterprise technology investments to realise strategic outcomes.
• Track industry dynamics and the impact of technology trends on CFO/CTO strategy.
• Build client facing business cases showing costs and benefits of technology transformations.
• Support cost optimisation across legacy, on-prem, hybrid cloud, SaaS, and AI deployments.
• Assist in designing and mobilising cost transparency and ROI improvement frameworks.

Your responsibilities as a Tech Value Manager/Consultant will include:

• Helping clients estimate the value of their enterprise technology investments to support realisation of strategic business and technology outcomes
• Staying abreast of industry dynamics and the impact of technology trends on CTO and CFO strategy – e.g. the impact of AI on Business and Technology investment decisions and value realisation
• Building client facing business cases that project the costs and benefits (financial & non-financial) of technology transformation while ensuring it aligns with business objectives
• Supporting clients define and execute technology cost optimisation programmes across legacy, on-prem, hybrid cloud, SaaS, and AI deployments
• Support clients to design and mobilise FinOps / TokenOps capabilities for hybrid cloud, SaaS, and AI spend to deliver cost transparency, cost control, and cost optimisation to improve ROI on technology investments
• Advise clients on financial management concepts (transparency, chargeback, total cost of ownership, budgeting, forecasting) within CTO using industry best practice and frameworks – e.g. Technology Business Management (TBM)
• Provide insights and frameworks that help clients to make complex investment decisions that align to meeting their strategic goals
• Support clients to move their financial planning processes from traditional annual budget processes to multi-year investment plans that fund products rather than projects

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have experience analysing technology cost bases and providing optimisation recommendations
• Are inquisitive and keen to explore emerging technologies (Gen AI, Agentic AI, TokenOps, Quantum, etc.)
• Have experience working with major technologies (hybrid cloud, data platforms, SaaS, AI, etc.)
• Have proven stakeholder management and communication skills that can be leveraged to influence and persuade clients
• Are comfortable interpreting financial reports and linking through to technology spend and inventories
• Can work across multi-disciplinary teams
