About the opportunity

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for leadership and first-class customer support? We're looking for a Technology Support Team Leader to play a key role in managing and mentoring our IT Helpdesk team, ensuring that our colleagues have secure, reliable, and efficient technology at their fingertips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the IT Helpdesk, ensuring service requests are prioritised and resolved effectively.
  • Lead, support and mentor our IT Support Engineers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring colleagues across the business feel supported and empowered by IT.
  • Manage disaster recovery, data security, and routine IT operations (backups, virus protection, system health checks).
  • Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and directors to align IT services with business needs.
  • Support budgeting, licensing renewals, and deliver IT projects that make a real impact.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role delivering 2nd line support and assisting with 3rd line tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, O365, Azure, and telephone systems (Five9 & Mitel)
Desirable experience
  • Financial Services (Insurance) background with an understanding of Open GI, Acturis or CDL.
  • Experience collaborating with external/outsourced partners to deliver services.
  • ISO 27001 certified
  • ITIL qualification
  • Azure Administration experience
