Job Description:

As a Technology Support Lead at JPMC Chase, you will play a leadership role in effectively identifying, monitoring, evaluating, and managing the firm’s technology risks and controls, focusing on Technology Operations, Regulatory, Incident & Event Management activities. You will be pivotal in shaping and implementing the firm’s risk management strategy in these areas.

The team follows a rigorous process to monitor, assess, and manage risks associated with expected and unexpected events that could impact the firm. You will collaborate with stakeholders including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, regulators, and auditors to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the technology risk posture and its impact on the business.

Your ability to make strategic decisions and drive projects will be crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and industry standards. Your work will contribute to the organization’s long-term resilience in an evolving technological landscape.

You will leverage your experience and problem-solving skills to ensure the firm manages its exposure related to new technologies such as public cloud infrastructure, influencing the maintenance of the firm’s control catalog.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in a team managing Incident Management, Regulatory, and Event Management processes.
  • Build a security-focused culture through collaboration with business and technology teams to enhance security posture.
  • Support Lines of Business in adopting controls to meet objectives and comply with global policies and regulations.
  • Proactively identify, quantify, communicate, and manage risks impacting the business, including root cause analysis.
  • Support control procedures, risk telemetry, and assessments.
  • Monitor control implementation and escalate risks as needed.
  • Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance requests related to controls.
  • Evaluate and adapt to regulatory changes affecting processes.
  • Prepare and present governance content regarding control requirements and risk posture.
Preferred qualifications and skills:
  • Familiarity with Firmwide Incident and Event Management processes.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks, governance, and security risks mitigation.
  • Background in cybersecurity, technology risk, controls, risk assessments, audits, or regulatory activities.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially with emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making.
  • Commitment to continuous learning about security trends and technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CRISC) and a degree in related fields; advanced degrees are a plus.
