Job summary

Anson McCade is partnering with a global advisory firm to hire an experienced technology consultant to work with senior leaders across banking, insurance, wealth, asset management and payments.

You will apply technology strategy, CIO advisory, IT transformation or operating models to understand a business problem, assess the technology behind it and advise on a practical way forward, while developing client relationships and helping grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Significant financial services experience and a strong consulting background.
• A combination of technical understanding and commercial judgement.
• Experience shaping technology decisions and influencing senior stakeholders.
• An interest in developing client relationships and helping grow a practice.

Responsibilities

Do you help financial services organisations make better decisions about technology?

I’m supporting a global advisory firm looking for an experienced technology consultant to work with senior leaders across banking, insurance, wealth, asset management and payments.

You might describe your background as technology strategy, CIO advisory, IT transformation, technology operating models or consulting. What matters is your ability to understand a business problem, assess the technology behind it and advise on a practical way forward.

The work could include:

• Helping clients decide where to invest in technology and how to modernise existing systems.
• Improving how technology teams are structured, governed and run.
• Reviewing technology costs and identifying opportunities to improve value.
• Assessing major change programmes and helping resolve problems.
• Advising on the technology implications of acquisitions, integrations and separations.
• Identifying practical opportunities to use AI and automation.

You’ll work directly with senior client leaders in small, experienced teams, with personal involvement in the analysis, recommendations and client relationships.

I’d be interested in speaking with people who bring:

• Significant financial services experience and a strong consulting background.
