Job Description

The Opportunity

This is an Associate Director level role. Reporting to the Global Head of Legal Operations, you will provide strategic direction and support for developing and implementing CSL Legal's technology plan, focusing on increasing efficiency and effectiveness. You will oversee and optimize the technology processes and solutions of the wider Legal function, ensuring systems are up-to-date, secure, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.

The Role

You will manage the Legal team's technology platforms, source and evaluate new solutions, and ensure the technology framework is best in class. Leading the implementation, administration, and support of legal technology platforms, you will promote system cohesiveness and future-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities

• Align with global partners on business needs to develop a long-term legal technology vision and roadmap.
• Develop and execute the technology roadmap, focusing on operational efficiencies and innovation.
• Collaborate with I&T Business Partners for system and roadmap alignment.
• Work with internal and external teams on technical solution design and delivery.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of enterprise legal systems, including Contract Lifecycle Management and Legal Service Delivery systems.
• Source and implement new software solutions.
• Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
• Develop user-friendly, integrated processes and systems.
• Oversee complex integrations and data migration efforts.
• Apply advanced analysis to solve complex problems.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies for future integration.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Legal Tech degree and PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Project Management skills are advantageous.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Agile methodologies is a plus.
• 7+ years managing global legal systems and developing project roadmaps.
• Experience across the entire development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of APIs or integration middleware.
• Experience with change management and process improvements with high user satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
