Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Technology Risk Analyst to identify, analyse and report on technology risk, information security and data risks across the Group. You will work with risk, technology and business teams to strengthen the risk and control framework and provide insights through risk data analysis.

You will support assurance reviews, track risks and programme updates and help deliver governance reporting while promoting best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology risk, information security or data governance.
• Experience in risk, technology, data, operations or a control-focused environment.
• Ability to analyse information and use data to support reporting and decision-making.
• Knowledge of risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT or NIST.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Good written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and embedding of technology risk policies, standards and controls across the Group.
• Gather, validate and analyse risk and control data to support reporting and identify trends, insights and data quality issues.
• Assist with assurance reviews, deep dives and spotlight assessments by collecting evidence and documenting findings.
• Collaborate with technology, information security and business teams to support risk management activities and reporting.
• Support technology change assurance by tracking risks, actions and programme updates.
• Analyse technology-related risk events and control weaknesses to support lessons learned and improvement.
• Prepare risk reports and management information for governance forums and stakeholders.
• Promote awareness of technology risk management practices and maintain guidance materials.
