Join us as a Technology Risk & Controls Manager in a 1st Line Controls function.

This role involves acting as a subject matter expert to our Technology stakeholders, executing our Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, guiding and influencing key risk and control design decisions to help effectively manage technology-related risks and controls.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with technology stakeholders to support their understanding and management of risks and controls.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders on managing risks, controls, and remediation plans to remain compliant with our risk framework.
• Support risk framework execution, including assessments, control design, and policy compliance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and support them with risk, control, and issues management.
• Produce governance and risk reports, analyzing MI and risk appetite related to technology disruptions, security, resilience, change, and outsourcing.
• Guide stakeholders on risk framework aspects, including control identification, remediation, and testing failures.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or automate controls to reduce operational costs.
• Monitor compliance with risk standards, Sox testing, and regulatory requirements.
• Support designing cost-effective, automated controls that meet regulatory and policy standards.

The skills you'll need

Understanding of financial crime or digital channels is necessary for informed risk discussions. Knowledge of 1st line risk frameworks, IT General Controls, outsourcing risks, and industry frameworks like COBIT, CRISC, and SOX is essential.
