Royal London in Alderley Park, Cheshire, seeks a Disaster Recovery and Technology Resilience Manager to lead governance, oversight and continuous improvement of the group’s technology recovery capability. You will head two Disaster Recovery Planners, coordinate recovery planning and testing across technology teams, and ensure recovery arrangements are documented, tested and measurable.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in disaster recovery, technology resilience, business continuity or operational resilience.
• Experience in governance, oversight or assurance within a complex technology environment.
• Proven track record of designing and leading disaster recovery tests and simulation exercises.
• Knowledge of infrastructure environments spanning cloud, networks, storage and end-user technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers or strategic service partners.
• Knowledge of UK financial services expectations for operational and technology resilience.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain the Disaster Recovery Framework, standards, governance processes and reporting.
• Lead the annual disaster recovery testing programme, including component, integrated and enterprise-wide exercises.
• Design scenario-based tests covering interconnected technology services and resilience objectives.
• Provide oversight and constructive challenge on recovery strategies, plans, targets and test outcomes.
• Track remediation arising from exercises, incidents, audits and assurance reviews.
• Report recovery readiness, key risks and improvement activity to senior leaders and governance forums.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud, Architecture, Service Management and Operational Resilience teams.
