What we do / The Team
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for Markets Risk and Controls Technology, responsible for managing complex and critical projects within the Controls/Alerts/Dispositioning domain, focusing on Compliance Risk Programs. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple functional areas, their interactions, and the business impact of technical contributions. The successful candidate will oversee project delivery lifecycle for applications related to controls within the Markets Business Controls Technology group, with excellent communication skills for senior-level negotiations.

Role Overview / Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities of the IT project team, resource planning, and schedule development to meet deadlines.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and clients.
• Utilize project management tools for tracking, metrics, and estimates.
• Contribute to process improvements and apply project leadership procedures.
• Understand team and area integration to achieve objectives.
• Communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely.
• Assess risks appropriately, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and Citi’s policies, while escalating and managing control issues transparently.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Understanding of SDLC.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Experience with global, cross-functional teams.
• Proven project management capabilities.
