Job description

Title: TechOps Engineer
Reports to: Technology Operations Manager
Location: UK Remote

We are seeking an individual to join our team with experience in identifying day-to-day manual tasks and finding ways to optimize those processes. The objective of this team is to design, implement, and support scalable multitenant solutions that serve both internal staff and external customers. You will be working with a mixture of services, vendors, and applications. Working on these solutions will include research and development of new solutions, implementation of established solutions according to best practice/documentation, creating technical documentation of the solutions, and providing second-line support for these solutions (either directly to end users or to other Atlas Technica employees).

Required for TechOps Engineer:

  1. 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 4 years of experience in the IT industry with relevant technologies, or 8 years of overall IT experience and 2-4 years with relevant technologies:
  2. Azure services
  3. Microsoft/Office 365
  4. Active Directory
  5. At least 2 years of experience at a Managed Services Provider.
  6. At least 2 years of experience with an automation language such as PowerShell.
  7. At least 2 years of experience with MS SQL, MySQL or related relational databases
  8. At least 1 year of experience working as an administrator in one or more of the following:
    • Connectwise Manage
    • Connectwise ScreenConnect
    • Connectwise CPQ/Sell
    • Connectwise BrightGauge
    • NinjaOne
    • Addigy
  9. Exposure to/ability to support and manage GDAP and Lighthouse
  10. Experience integrating solutions via REST API
  11. Ability to communicate complex technical information to different audiences.
  12. Experience with writing technical documentation
  13. Drive, willingness to learn, responsibility for one’s own work and the overall outcome.

Nice to have:

  1. Active certifications in Azure or Microsoft/Office 365.
  2. Experience working with and deploying one or more enterprise level solutions
  3. Experience working with clients in finance or alternative investment industries.
  4. Experience working with various vendors to escalate support issues
  5. Experience troubleshooting OS X
