About the Position

We are seeking a Technology Governance & Risk Specialist to help manage and automate our technology risk management processes and IT governance framework.

In this global role, you'll join our Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, working alongside experts across Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Controls, and Compliance to ensure our systems and processes operate smoothly and in compliance with relevant regulations.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, implementing, and improving technology governance processes related to service management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  2. Scripting and automating solutions to monitor risk indicators, generate compliance reports, and track remediation efforts.
  3. Creating dashboards and metrics to provide visibility into our technology risk posture.
  4. Partnering with technology teams to ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions (e.g., SEC, FCA, AFM, SFC), supporting GDPR activities, responding to due diligence questionnaires, and managing regulatory filings.
  5. Coordinating cross-functional risk assessments and testing programs such as business continuity and application recovery testing, audits, etc.
  6. Leading projects to address technology risks within the organization.
  7. Maintaining documentation, policies, and standards aligned with industry frameworks like ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001.
  8. Preparing management information reports highlighting key risks and trends for leadership.
  9. Facilitating governance committee meetings and following up on action items.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within financial services, with exposure to technology governance, risk, and service management activities such as:
    • Aligning with regulation/industry standards (e.g., ITIL, NIST, CSF)
    • Drafting policies and standards
    • Facilitating BC/DR assessments and testing
    • Responding to due diligence questionnaires and regulatory inquiries
    • Dependency mapping
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and participation in audits with internal teams, third parties, and regulators.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, SQL) to automate compliance processes and controls.
  • High-level understanding of technology stacks and ability to discuss technical topics with engineers.
  • Motivated self-starter capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear language, maintaining documentation, and tailoring messages for different audiences.
  • Eager to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Fluency in English is required.
