The Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Co-ordinator is a rewarding role overseeing a crucial service that directly impacts the citizens of the city and the wellbeing of our community. You will be responsible for managing a small team supporting with the day-to-day installations of TEC equipment in the homes of elderly and vulnerable adults
Derby Carelink is a 24 -hour emergency monitoring and response accredited service that ensure vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the telephone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. We also offer a range of other technologies to protect our customers in an emergency. As a TEC Co-ordinator you will work closely with TEC equipment suppliers and professionals from across multiple agencies, being at the forefront of service delivery, offering an invaluable service to citizens of Derby

The Opportunity
In the role of TEC Co-ordinator , here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
• You will be the first point of contact for potential Carelink customers, to advise on Telecare provision and equipment availability.
• Receive referrals for installation of TEC
• Managing and arranging the day-to-day operation work of the Installation team within Carelink.
• Making appointments and managing diaries.
• Maintain the stock control systems for all equipment and producing statistical data
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers keeping up to date with all the latest TEC equipment on the market
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have...
• Knowledge and understanding of telecare alarm equipment
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Staff supervision experience
• Understanding of elderly and vulnerable adults and their needs looking where TEC can support those needs
• A full and current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work with business use insurance is an essential requirement of this post (Mileage will be paid)
• A vibrant personality and enjoy working in a busy environment
• Used performance data and benchmarking to improve performance
• A wide range of computer skills
• Customer service skills
