An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Carelink Service for a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Support Officer.


The (TEC) Support Officer a rewarding role supporting a crucial service that directly impacts the citizens of the city and the wellbeing of our community.


Derby Carelink is a 24 -hour emergency monitoring and response accredited service that ensure vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the telephone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. We also offer a range of other technologies to protect our customers in an emergency. As a TEC Support Officer you will work closely with professionals from across multiple agencies including the Telecare Services Association to develop processes and training on the latest available telecare technology.

The Opportunity
In the role of Telecare Support Officer, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:


You will take a lead role in the development and management of procedures and processes that will support ongoing achievement of the Telecare Services Association Quality Standards Accreditation. Ensuring that these standards are embedded with all employees within the service.


Also, contributing to the development and implementation of training of all employees within the service including inducting new employees focusing on Carelink systems, and operations as well as developing training on new initiatives working effectively across the wider social care, and NHS sectors.


This will involve working across the 24/7 service including some weekends and nights to ensure appropriate training is delivered.


About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have...


• Experience in supporting with staff training and developing training programmes
• Experience of creating processes and procedures
• A vibrant personality and enjoy working in a busy environment
• Understanding of performance data and benchmarking to improve performance
• A wide range of computer skills
• Customer service skills
