Job description

Technology Due Diligence Manager

We are searching for an experienced Technology Due Diligence Manager.

Make an Impact at RSM UK

Our Consulting team has ambitious growth plans, and we want you to be part of our journey. You will join the consulting team at an exciting time as we strengthen and grow our six solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our team of experts collaborates to provide tailored, client-centric solutions, delivering a premium service to build sustainable, future-fit businesses.

As a Manager, you will be a problem solver, creative thinker, and self-starter. You should be organized, proactive, inquisitive, and experienced in Technology M&A or Transformation projects, demonstrating the value delivered to organizations. You should also be comfortable coaching junior team members and managing multiple projects and deadlines.

You will contribute to client proposals and presentations, and clients will see you as a trusted advisor in identifying, analyzing, and solving business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients in vendor assistance engagements, identifying risks and gaps in technology functions, and maximizing value realization.
  • Conducting pre-deal technology due diligence (buy-side or sell-side), identifying risks and value creation opportunities across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and personnel.
  • Supporting post-deal separation or integration activities, including Day 1 readiness, 100-day plans, TSA drafting, and exit strategies.
  • Collaborating with CIOs/CTOs to achieve technology objectives, manage risks, and realize value through strategy reviews, maturity assessments, operating model optimization, or cost reduction initiatives.
What we are looking for:

Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can identify inefficiencies and are passionate about improvements, this role is for you.

We value diverse experiences. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in two or more of the following areas:

  • Working in consulting, advisory, or professional services roles
  • Experience with technology transactions, including due diligence, integration, or separation support
  • Experience in a technology-related role
What we offer:

We recognize our people are our greatest asset. Our benefits include:

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
  • 27 days annual leave, with options to purchase additional days
  • Wellbeing benefits, including financial tools, electric car schemes, and virtual GP access
  • Access to over 300 on-demand courses developed by our talent team
