Job Title – Technology Delivery Project Manager

Department/Sector – Logistics

Job Location – London

Salary – £45k – £55k

Our client is recruiting a Technology Delivery Project Manager who has evidence of end-to-end IT delivery, software development and change projects in a fast-paced business environment.

To apply for the role you must have worked with a range of stakeholders to establish project plans and agree processes.

You must be comfortable working closely with technical teams to communicate needs and manage delivery milestones, through to managing the implementation and handover over of finalised solutions to business customers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage change into the business effectively; ensuring the business gets maximum benefit from any project deliveries
• Identify, analyse, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks
• Manage tracking and reporting on delivery metrics for one or more projects
• Communicate project status effectively and appropriately to convey key messages and escalate issues as appropriate
• Sustain a working environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team to achieve project goals
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous review and improvement of project delivery processes to maximise quality and return of deliveries within the business
• Identify and analyse the technology needs of the business
• Develop or assist them to develop a business case to meet their specific business requirements
• Provide business teams with a single point of contact for project delivery
• Deploy project management tools and processes to help ensure project quality and controls
• Plan, estimate, manage and deliver to time and budget one or more projects
• Manage the direction, priorities, scope and plan for one or more projects, potentially including 3rd party suppliers as well as internal technology and business staff

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management or change role, with a demonstrable track record of delivery
• Experience of working for a technology consulting firm
• Prince 2 / Agile or equivalent qualification or training
• Experience of IT DevOps and Continuous Delivery
