Job description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Technology Marketing team, working alongside business teams to prioritise and deliver improvements to our More loyalty scheme with the aim of increasing engagement with our customers, making the scheme easier to use and helping drive our key measures to improve business performance.

You will take a lead in improving these solutions for our customers by taking ownership throughout the technology delivery cycle from initiation through design, build and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • The delivery of technology improvements across our loyalty systems and proposition across both existing and new channels.
  • Working closely with business teams to understand improvements priority and then converting that into outcomes by leading the delivery teams through all phases of our delivery lifecycle from initial proposals and work estimation through to delivering the business outcomes & value.
  • Management of a 3rd party delivery team, owning capacity planning and prioritisation of resources while governing the adherence to our delivery process.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ensuring delivery of high quality solutions into service with a key focus on ensuring stability.
About you

You'll ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Technology Project Manager (or similar) role with demonstrable experience of delivering solutions end to end, preferably with a Marketing or Retail background.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • You’ll need to be an independent worker that can proactively manage your own time and focus in a complex organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong project management skills including excellent planning and control, with ability to effectively manage risk and issue through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Previous experience working and managing 3rd party resources, including offshore roles.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, multitask and maintain keen attention to detail.
  • A natural tendency to be positive, creative and collaborative.
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • While not necessary, qualifications such as Prince 2, APm etc would be advantageous.
