Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to lead the Secure Networks and Servers squad in London, balancing strategic transformation with operational delivery in a hybrid working environment.

You will manage delivery plans, dependencies and risks, and collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security and Service Management to ensure secure, service-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager or similar within a technology-driven environment.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, networks, cloud, hosting, cybersecurity or critical technology services.
• Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities and complex dependencies.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the Secure Networks and Servers squad with clear, achievable outcomes.
• Create delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements and critical paths.
• Support planning practices and bring together priorities, dependencies, capacity and delivery confidence.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions and dependencies, escalating constraints early.
• Provide transparent reporting on progress, priorities, risks and delivery to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management and operations to ensure secure, supportable solutions.
• Support change control, implementation planning, testing, deployment and handover.
• Build trusted relationships across Technology and the wider organisation, challenging unclear demand.

Our Secure Networks and Servers team protects and modernises the infrastructure that underpins Nuffield Health, spanning enterprise networks, servers, cloud and hosting, cyber resilience, infrastructuremaintenanceand technology change.

We’relooking for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to bring clarity to a complex delivery environment, balancing strategic transformation, essential maintenance, operationaldemandand cross-organisational dependencies.

As our Technology Delivery Manager,you’ll:

• Lead delivery across the Secure Networks and Servers squad, focusing the team on clear,achievableand cost-effective outcomes.
• Create delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resourcerequirementsand critical paths across concurrent initiatives.
• Supportsquad and unit level planning practices such asRefinement,SprintPlanningand BigRoom Planningby bringing together priorities, dependencies,capacityand delivery confidence across teams.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions and cross-squad or supplier dependencies, escalating constraints early and clearly.
• Provide transparent reporting on progress, priorities, risks,capacityand delivery confidence to senior stakeholders.
• Work with Architecture, Cyber Security, ServiceManagementand operations to ensure solutions are secure,supportableand ready for service.
• Support change control, implementation planning, testing, deployment, operationalreadinessand handover.
• Build trusted relationships across Technology and the wider organisation, constructively challenging unclear or unrealistic demand.

To succeed as a Technology Delivery Manager,you’llbring:

• Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or similar within a technology-driven environment.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, networks, cloud, hosting, cybersecurityor business-critical technology services.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities, sharedresourcesand complex dependencies.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches and tools such as Jira and Microsoft Planner.
• Strong risk, issue,dependencyand stakeholder management, with the confidence to escalationand recommend realistic options.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate plans, progress,risksand decisions clearly.
• Experience managing budgets, financial tracking,suppliersand technology partners.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands- on delivery leadership.
