Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Delivery Leader to lead a North American data centre portfolio from the UK. You will mobilize delivery teams, mentor leaders, and ensure governance, quality, and client confidence across projects.

With deep data centre market knowledge and proven senior leadership, you will align portfolio priorities, manage risks, and report on delivery performance while supporting global delivery standards and mobility across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven senior leadership of programmes or multi-project delivery.
• 5 years of Data centre or mission-critical experience.
• Chartership or accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, PMP, PgMP or APM desirable.
• Credible executive client and stakeholder leadership.
• Experience in governance, assurance and performance improvement.
• Strong project controls, risk, quality, and resource management.
• Ability to travel across the United States.

Role description:

Lead and assure delivery of a portfolio of Data Centre projects across North America, strengthening performance, consistency and client confidence. This senior leadership role is critical to mobilizing project teams, training, mentoring and developing cost, schedule and program management professionals, and driving consistent high-quality outputs from delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the data centre market, coupled with the ability to engage with client stakeholders to provide confidence in delivery outcomes and demonstrate effective leadership of our delivery teams.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead North American portfolio delivery and provide visible executive oversight.
• Assure delivery against client commitments, governance and Arcadis standards.
• Set regional priorities, accountabilities and consistent ways of working.

• Drive integrated resource, capacity and capability planning.
• Connect projects, locations and global expertise to improve consistency.
• Align talent deployment, mobilisation and succession with portfolio priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience in Senior leadership of programmes, portfolios or multi-project delivery.
• 5 years of Data centre, mission-critical or comparable capital-sector experience preferred.
• Chartership or accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, PMP, PgMP or APM desirable.
• Complex capital portfolio experience across dispersed teams.
• Credible executive client and stakeholder leadership.
• Proven governance, assurance and performance improvement.
• Strong project controls, risk, quality, commercial and resource expertise.
• Matrix leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective intervention in challenging delivery environments.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the United States to support delivery teams.
• Proven commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and the efficient delivery of large-scale technology infrastructure projects.
