• Expertise in Storage Systems: Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch.
• Proficiency in Backup Management: EMC Data Domain, Networker, ECS.

Job description

Role: Technology Consultant / Analyst

Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid – Office presence on need basis, approx. 1-4 days/month)

Contract Duration: 1 Year (with possible extension based on performance)

Note: Candidates will need to complete appropriate security clearances (BPSS, SC).

Key Responsibilities

Monitor components of storage systems, including volumes, LUNs, disks, and logs.

Manage incidents, changes, problems, and capacity planning.

Plan and execute disaster recovery activities.

Conduct regular backup management, health checks, and ensure successful backups.

Perform storage health checkups and monitor storage array performance.

Manage controller mirroring configurations and troubleshoot any issues.

Required Skills And Experience

4+ years of experience in System Administration.

Expertise in Storage Systems: Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch.

Proficiency in Backup Management: EMC Data Domain, Networker, ECS.

Strong knowledge of Operating Systems: VMWare and Linux/RedHat.
