Job summary

Primark is hiring a Category Specialist - Technology to drive procurement for software, SaaS, cloud, hardware and related services across the group. You will analyse spend, market trends and contracts to unlock cost savings and add value while leading sourcing activities and negotiations with suppliers.

The role works in a hybrid model with 1-2 days at home, partnering with business stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure delivery and governance of technology contracts and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Procurement with category management knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical, proactive, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the Technology category strategy (software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, services).
• Analyse spend, supplier performance, contracts, and market trends to identify savings and value.
• Lead and support sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract renewals for technology needs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and offshore partners for procurement planning.
• Drive supplier governance, performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilise data and digital tools to improve procurement efficiency and compliance.
