    We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Technology and Services Transformation Director to lead the development and execution of our technology transformation agenda. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a new digital service offering within Turner & Townsend Digital, with accountability for strategy, delivery, commercial performance, and market positioning.

    You will lead a multidisciplinary team across enterprise IT and operational technology domains, with responsibilities akin to CIO-level leadership. The role blends strategic direction, client engagement, innovation, internal capability development, and business performance ownership.

    Key Responsibilities

    Service & Practice Development

    • Build and scale new technology-led service offerings aligned to Turner & Townsend’s digital strategy.
    • Define value propositions, delivery models, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Digital Capability Family Leads.
    • Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.
    • Shape the vision, roadmap, and commercial model for a new practice area that meets market demand and drives sustainable revenue growth.
    • Lead the delivery of complex technology programmes and portfolios across enterprise IT and operational technology.
    • Drive innovation through the adoption of AI, cloud-native platforms, data analytics, and intelligent automation.
    • Oversee IT service performance, ensuring alignment with business needs and continuous improvement.
    • Apply structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, ITIL, Lean) to deliver transformation outcomes at scale.

    Client & Industry Engagement

    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping digital transformation strategies and service models.
    • Represent Turner & Townsend in industry forums, conferences, and thought leadership platforms.
    • Lead market conditioning and business generation through strategic partnerships, solution development, and client engagement.

    Capability & Team Leadership

    • Grow Turner & Townsend’s internal technology capability and credibility.
    • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.

    Business Performance & Governance

    • Own P&L responsibility for the service line, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control.
    • Ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance across all transformation initiatives.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and executive leadership forums, influencing the direction of Turner & Townsend Digital in the UK and global regions.
    • Skills & Experience

      • Proven experience in leading enterprise-wide technology and service transformation initiatives.
      • Experience across a range of Turner & Townsend’s key sector areas including Infrastructure, Defence, Energy & Natural Resources, and Government.
      • Demonstrated success in building or scaling a new service line, practice, or capability area within a complex organisation.
      • Strong understanding of IT service management, digital platforms, operational technology, and emerging technologies (AI, cloud, data).
      • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience influencing at C-suite and board levels.
      • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering revenue growth, managing P&L, and driving strategic business outcomes.

      Qualifications

      • Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
      • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile, TOGAF, Prosci) are highly desirable.
