ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated Technologist to join their team in West London. As an Analytical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of therapeutic proteins through comprehensive analytical testing.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Technologist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Perform analytical testing, including HPLC (size exclusion, ion exchange), electrophoresis (e.g., CE SDS, icIEF), spectrophotometry, and general characteristic analysis (e.g., visual appearance, pH, Osmolality).

2. Conduct experimental work independently in accordance with SOPs on various sample types, ensuring compliance with local EHS policies and cGMP guidelines.

3. Liaise with reviewers and study directors to close out technical reviews of assays, interpret data against specifications, and identify trends within data.

4. Support the timely completion of investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls, and contribute to general lab housekeeping and equipment maintenance.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

2. Proven industry experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, or biological setting.
